  • There is no fee to list your event on the SFCW calendar, though we do provide an option for organizers to make a donation to help support the operational costs of hosting SF Climate Week

  • The 2024 SF Climate Week calendar is now live, and we are inviting organizers to submit their events. Please follow the instructions here.

  • Your event will be included in the SF Climate Week calendar, which will be shared through various channels, including the SF Climate Week website, social media platforms, newsletters, and blogs.

    Additionally, Climatebase, the main organizer of SF Climate Week, will actively promote the calendar across its extensive engagement channels, which include approximately 100,000 newsletter subscribers, along with 35,000 LinkedIn followers and 12,000 Twitter followers.

    We also ask that event organizers support SF Climate Week by promoting your event and SFCW to your own audiences. A rising tide lifts all boats.

  • Basic criteria for inclusion on the SF Climate Week calendar include: :

    • The event should predominantly focus on topics related to climate, environmentalism, or sustainability

    • The event must take place in-person or hybrid (no virtual only) within the San Francisco Bay Area (virtual-only events must have a sponsorship agreement)

    • The event must fall within the dates of April 21-27th, 2024

    • The event must adhere to principles of non-discrimination

    These requirements ensure that events showcased during SF Climate Week align with its thematic focus and values.

  • Yes! We encourage any person or organization to host multiple events. There is no maximum number of events someone or organization can organize.

  • Please make changes or updates to your event through the Lu.ma platform/website

  • We only allow for a few, pre-selected virtual events to be part of SF Climate Week, as we strive to make SF Climate Week an in-person event week. If you are interested in hosting a virtual only event, please email sponsors@sfclimateweek.org

  • We will close registration for events in the beginning of April. To maximize time for promoting your on the SF Climate Week event calendar, we recommend submitting an event as soon as possible.

  • Yes, we encourage event organizers to hold SF Climate Week events anywhere within the SF Bay Area region.

  • Yes, event organizers have discretion to determine how registration for their event will be handled and whether there will be a fee to attend. Our calendar platform Luma can support ticketing, custom registration questions, and registration pending approval.

  • SF Climate Week is San Francisco's week-long summit gathering thousands of people and organizations focused on accelerating climate solutions. The Bay Area is known for its leadership in innovation and environmental stewardship, with San Francisco at the epicenter. SF Climate Week represents an unprecedented opportunity to convene thousands of diverse organizations and individuals working at the intersection of climate action and innovation to cultivate community, exchange knowledge and insights, and accelerate climate solutions together.

  • SF Climate Week is a week-long summit happening between April 21st and April 27th 2024. Most events will be in-person and happening around the San Francisco Bay Area region.

  • Nearly all SF Climate Week events will be in-person in the San Francisco Bay Area region. With that being said, there will be some hybrid and a few virtual only events.

  • This year, SF Climate Week is introducing broad tracks. Event categories will help event organizers, speakers and attendees identify areas of common interest.

  • Participating in SF Climate Week is free. However, some events throughout the week may require paid tickets.
